The brief was to design a fully operating rotary slasher to to be added to a hydraulic arm of agricultural machine. The product was designed and cut/formed at Real-steel LTD in Wellington New Zealand. And is now currently operating around the Wellington region.
Most of the assembly was made from different grades of Hardox steel, which is and abrasion resistant steel and mainly used in quarrying applications. So this dictated much of the design around what could be formed and what radius tooling could be used.
Photos to come of the product fabricated and attached to the machine.
